Directions

Although it is possible to drive to Sloan, it is nearly impossible to find on-street parking. If you must drive, there are a few "pay to park" lots in Kendall Square.

The street address of the Sloan Building is 50 Memorial Drive, Cambridge. It is at the eastern end of the MIT campus a few buildings west of the Longfellow Bridge. The Department of Economics is located on the second and third floors of the Sloan/E52 Building. Headquarters is on the third floor, suite E52-373.

By rapid transit (the T):

To get to Sloan, take the Red Line to Kendall Square. Once above ground (you'll be on Main Street), head for the nearby Bank of America on the corner of Wadsworth Street. Walk half a block down Wadsworth toward the river, then cross the street to a wide flight of stone steps -- the Sloan Plaza. The Hermann Building (which houses the Dewey library and faculty offices; also known as E53) is straight ahead and the main Sloan building (E52) is on your right. The Department of Economics is located on the second and third floors of the Sloan/E52 Building. Headquarters is on the third floor, suite E52-373.
